An artistic experiment searching for sound emissions and the limit of human hearing. Composed of infrasonic material that have a lot of harmonic distortion. Humans will be able to identify tones as low as 12hz. From 1000 hz the auditory system decreases. Natural and human produced infrasonic sounds is anywhere, all the time. The artistic idea was to use background noises, signal fidelity, harmonic distortion, low-frequency in order to foster a soundscape of infrasound that travels through space. Made for project that was never released. Think somebody might enjoy or use it.

I've scanned the radio frequencies with an old radio and recorded with my tascam dr-05 via the headphone jack. You can hear some weird looping patterns and sound fragments from random radio stations.

This is a recording of myself sleeping, beginning ~ 1:00 am local time (~ 3hrs after going to bed) on january 10th, 2020 (which i later discovered was a full moon). I was in the midst of experimenting with recording myself all night long out of curiosity, using a laptop placed near the head of my bed. This particular recording was the only anomalous one (the rest consisting mostly of just breathing or snoring with occasional sleep-talking). This ~2 hour recording has several interesting properties, which make it hard for me to believe that these sounds were actually going on while i was sleeping. On the other hand, i don't have a memory of editing this file if i did. Either way, i find it unsettling. I found the file in oct 2021 while organizing my samples. As far as i can remember, this is the original raw recording. On further inspection, i discovered that it has some additional peculiar properties that make it even harder to believe i could have made it without remembering doing so. The audio spans almost exactly 118min (7080s). There’s a frequency sweep with a cycle-length of 6480ms that repeats throughout the entire recording. Dividing the 118min by 6. 48min (60 cycles) results in 18 parts containing exactly 60 cycles and a remainder of 12 cycles. If you think you know the source of the strange sounds or if you've ever heard anything similar, please let me know in the comments or email me at storyofthelie@protonmail. Com. I collected the most interesting bits into this pack:https://freesound. Org/people/storyofthelie/packs/33653/. Sounds like you are in a futuristic city terminal. This is of course meant to represent only one of many sounds - it is not complete without other futuristic sounds (if you want to make a futuristic city terminal atmosphere!). This sound reminds me of an old third-person shooter game which was released/published back in the days (year 2000!) -- messiah!. This sound can for example be used in sci-fi games, for example when the player is walking in a huge futuristic city terminal, or is interacting with an ai - you name it!. If you enjoyed the sound, please rate, comment, spread! it really helps!. Note: make sure to check out the other matrixxx-sounds! the sound quality is always better when you download the sound(s)! ⛄. Enjoy!/matrixxx.

Squeaky audio cable-to-speaker incomplete connection. One end is plugged into a speaker and the other is not plugged into anything. The squeaking sound is made from my fingers touching the tip and sides of the metal tip of the non-connected end of the cable. The variation of sound and pitch is from moving my fingers up and down the metal tip in different speeds, angles, and placements.
